Daydreams and Designs
For me, art isn't just about the physical work - it is about the ideas and stories that are behind it. My life is dedicated to allowing my daydreams to take over, bringing as many of them as I can into the world.
Behind the Dreams
I am a sculptor and fabricator living in Old Fort North Carolina, and a graduate of UNCA with a concentration in sculpture. While I have worked with many mediums, my current materials of choice are steel and handmade paper. Much of my work is a form of storytelling - bringing myth and folklore into the visual world. Much of my inspiration comes from the natural world, and the ways we strive to understand our place in it.
I greatly enjoy custom work, as I believe that the melding of minds and ideas is the most important aspect of art. I am always willing to discuss projects, and will do my best to make your dreams a reality, as they blend with my own.
While much of my work is purely aesthetic, I do enjoy making functional pieces, and fixing things that would often be thrown away.
Where To Find Me
My art can be found at the River Arts District in Asheville NC. I share a gallery with Stephen Lange in the Phil Mechanic Studio and Gallery

I try to participate in three art shows a year. I will update them as applications are approved. The list so far:
Herb Fest at Painters Greenhouse (Saturday April 20th)
The Spring Lake Lure Arts and Craft Show (Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th of May)
